Farewell, 2012

(Source: weheartit)

First of all, a very Happy New Year to everyone! x

2012 has been quite a year...

In this year, I've definitely tried to figure myself out more during the vast amounts of alone-time I've had. Whilst in the middle of doing so, I grew as a person. I realised I was a more independent being, that 'alone' isn't all that much of a scary word. I also learnt that it's important to set priorities, to be more confident and about myself, to stop over-thinking and to start living, whether or not I have a life anyway. I still have got loads more figuring and sorting out to do, that's for sure, but I'm glad I'm actually making progress.

I've made new friends(I'm really thankful for them) in the rapidly-moving 365 and a quarter days of 2012, and it was a different way of life for me ever since I started school. Didn't quite liked it at first as I was still used to my old ways, but life's never always going to be the same and that's a fact. Change is inevitable. I'll just have to live with it and make the best out of everything I have.

On with the topic of school, it is crazy how much tougher the things I'm studying now are, and how much bigger the workload have just got. It's immensely difficult, I admit, and I was(the past year) and still am struggling to grasp everything and to do well. Just everything about school the past year stressed me full on and with the A's coming up at the end of this year, I don't see how it can get any better.... Not forgetting the fact that I've got an exam to sit for on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL NEXT MONDAY. Isn't life great?

Other than the dreadful thing that is school and the small breakdowns here and there, 2012 has been pretty darn incredible. In 2012, I 'discovered' the Harries twins and their fellow gang of British Youtubers, which helped me got through my gloomy days. I got to watch Justin Bieber live and meet Dan Kanter and his fellow crew. Watching The Cab live and meeting Joey Thunder and Alex DeLeon wasn't such a bad thing either. I've had my childhood dream of meeting the Jonas Brothers fulfilled. Most of all, I've created heaps of beautiful memories in this year with my family and friends....

I'm ending this post with a big Thank You to everyone who has made 2012 an amazing year for me. I don't know what 2012 would be without you guys x

Here's to 2012!
